We do our best to bring you the fairest, lowest prices that we can at all times, and we’re always looking for ways to save you money. As we figure out more efficient methods of operation, you’ll see our prices go down – but we have never and will never raise a price on any product. Yes, you could probably find a way to purchase some our products in bulk for lower rates, if you looked hard enough. We buy in bulk and run thorough quality control inspections, so that you can conveniently order the amount of products you want from a trusted source. We need to mark up the prices as little bit, so that we can give our team fair pay and health care, and so that we can pay our own business permit fees, website hosting, storage fees, etc. If you ever see our price go down on a product you have already purchased from Powdra, please feel free to email us and we’ll give you store credit for the difference, we care about our customers!

We seek out ethical suppliers of cacao that can guarantee 100% organic, single-origin cacao powder. If you’d like to know more about an individual product, please feel free to send us an email.

For Powdra-branded products, we seek out reputable producers to fabricate our original creations, with quality standards that Powdra can stand behind, so that we can proudly offer you the coolest gadgets at the best rates possible.
For other brands, we reach out directly to their offices and negotiate wholesale deals that allow us to offer you their creations at the same prices that you’d find anywhere else – sometimes lower! Also, whenever possible we will automatically delegate the shipping directly to their headquarters, to save you time and money. You may sometimes see your order arrive in two separate shipments – that means we found a way to get you a better price and faster delivery by working directly with the manufacturer.

I started Powdra because I love chocolate and I’ve learned a lot about Cacao that I want to share with the world. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, then I moved to California, and I’ve lived here in San Francisco, Oakland and Sacramento for about 25 years. You might see some products that area associated with intranasal tasting of cacao, and we know it might seem strange at first, just ignore it if it’s not your thing. Intranasal cacao tasting is totally legal and it’s actually pretty mundane. cacao does not give you a “buzz”, it’s not a drug. cacao is a natural food source containing theobromine, a stimulant that some people believe enhances cognitive function and mood. Plus it tastes delicious. A significant section of the world’s cacao fanbase is made up of people who like to taste it intranasally, sometimes alongside foods like a mole taco or a chocolate croissant. It’s like how some fancy chefs will serve experimental dishes on a plate rested atop a pillow of scented air, to stimulate the olfactory glands in your nose as you eat the food.
Please be aware: Doctors discourage the intranasal use of cacao because it can damage delicate nasal passages, and let’s be clear: Powdra does NOT promote intranasal use, we aren’t trying to convert anyone. Some people choose to take the risk – which is legal and it’s their choice – and that’s part of the world of cacao fandom and culture. Powdra does not assume any risk or responsibility for what customers choose to do with the products purchased here. However, we know that intranasal use of cacao is much less dangerous than say MMA fighting, skydiving or plastic surgery, and hey, all those good vitamins and antioxidants must be going somewhere, right? It might feel like part of a 70s movie or something, and that’s a funny joke, but Powdra never supports or condones the use of our products for anything other than enjoying 100% pure organic single-origin cacao.

Orders and Shipping

We typically process and ship orders within 1-2 business days. Once your order ships, you will receive a Shipping Confirmation email that will include your tracking number.

Once your order is completed, you will receive an Order Confirmation email, and then when your order ships, you will receive a Shipping Confirmation email. The Shipping Confirmation email will include your USPS tracking number, which you can use to track your order via USPS.com.

Powdra’s policy is to never store any of our customers’ credit card information. 

For the moment, Powdra only sells and ships within the USA, but we’re working on adding the ability to sell to more countries.

Whenever possible, Powdra will always combine your order into one package to conserve shipping materials. 

Returns and Exchanges

We strive to get your order processed as quickly and as accurately as possible, but every once in a while, mistakes do happen. If you receive the wrong item, or if your item arrives broken, please contact us by emailing [email protected] within 30 days of purchase for a refund or replacement. Aside from cases where a customer receives the incorrect product, or where the product arrives damaged from shipping, all orders are final, so please shop with care.

You will receive an email with a pre-paid shipping label (including the return address) once your return is approved.
